...getting in shape,
Thanks to my twitter friends and the fact that I just turned in my last assignment of the semester, I'll be starting the 30 day shred tomorrow! |
...trying new styles,
I'm going to give this bright, color-blocking combination a try for Mother's Day Brunch on Sunday! |
...and enjoying nature.
My balcony all ready to go for spring! |
And here in Chicago, spring means...

Gah, I miss Chicago! I went to school in Grand Rapids and it was easy to spend the day there. Now that I'm in LA, the commute is a little longer.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the shred!

Tulips are one of my favourite flowers. That's exciting that you are doing the 30 day shred. I wish you luck on that.. Chicago has such a great culture and arts. I've only been a few times but really enjoyed my stay when I was there.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend! -xo

Thanks for all the fun comments, ladies! Chicago is fabulous in the spring- which is why I wish there were more spring days in the year! :) I'm super excited to start shredding!
ReplyDeleteLove this post! I used to live in the suburbs of Chicago, going into the city was always amazing. Last year I moved to Nebraska which is obviously gorgeous in the spring, though I've missed Chicago's great activities like crazy!
ReplyDeleteFabulous post, darling!

The House in the Clouds
I visited Chicago 3yrs ago in February. I liked the city very much, but unfortunately no sight of flowers, so it's nice to see a picture of Chicago in spring!!
ReplyDeleteI also like your colorblocking outfit!!Nice combination!
I work out all year long, but from Monday on I will try to "diet" a little bit (=don't eat unnessesary stuff and sweets!!)

Spring is weatherwise the same here, but does mean more optimistic attitudes and possibly more travels!

Glad all you ladies love the post! Thanks for stopping by! I work out all year long as well, but really step it up in the spring so I am not self conscious playing beach volleyball in the summmer! :) P.S. I went to my first Cubs game of the season yesterday! Hooray!
ReplyDeleteI love your take on this post. All of these things are so spot-on. Baseball, tulips - yep, spring is here! And I love your green blazer. I'm sure you totally rocked it on Mother's Day.
ReplyDeleteAwww yay you posted about the tulips on Michigan Ave on your own blog too! They truly are the best sign of spring ever.
