What Spring Means to Me: FTF Blog Event

Hello, Lovelies!  Today I am participating in the Full Time Fabulous blog event!  This month's theme about spring and what it means to each of us! I get excited every year when the sun starts to shine and flowers emerge all over the city. Spring brings new life, and with it, tons of motivation to be active, look fabulous, and enjoy the simple things! To me, spring means...

...getting in shape,
Thanks to my twitter friends and the fact that I just turned in my last assignment of the semester, I'll be starting the 30 day shred tomorrow!
...trying new styles,
I'm going to give this bright, color-blocking combination a try for Mother's Day Brunch on Sunday!
...and enjoying nature.
My balcony all ready to go for spring!
And here in Chicago, spring means...

...baseball,

...outdoor concerts,
The Chicago Symphony Orchestra playing at Millenium Park last spring.
...and tulips galore!

What does spring mean to you?  I'd love to hear your thoughts about this fabulous season!  Also, be sure to check out the rest of the bloggers who participated in this fun event!

  3. Gah, I miss Chicago! I went to school in Grand Rapids and it was easy to spend the day there. Now that I'm in LA, the commute is a little longer.

    Good luck with the shred!

  10. Love this post! I used to live in the suburbs of Chicago, going into the city was always amazing. Last year I moved to Nebraska which is obviously gorgeous in the spring, though I've missed Chicago's great activities like crazy!

  14. I visited Chicago 3yrs ago in February. I liked the city very much, but unfortunately no sight of flowers, so it's nice to see a picture of Chicago in spring!!
I also like your colorblocking outfit!!Nice combination!
I work out all year long, but from Monday on I will try to "diet" a little bit (=don't eat unnessesary stuff and sweets!!)

  15. Spring is weatherwise the same here, but does mean more optimistic attitudes and possibly more travels!
