And So It Begins

Good Morning, Gorgeous! As I'm sure many of you know, my amazing man and I recently got engaged. We both appreciated all your kind words of congratulations, and also enjoyed seeing how excited you all were to be in the loop when it comes to planning! Happily, the process is officially beginning today with our first visit to a potential wedding venue! I plan to take plenty of photos to share with you all, but for now, I thought I would show you some of the wedding ideas I've come across that I absolutely adore!

*Photos found on the knot.com, pinterest.com, & etsy.com
Contrasting a rustic setting with glamorous accents.
Favors that people can actually use.
Something for the guys (plus, my honey is a cigar lover)
A special hanger for my special dress (available here).
Simple but chic lighting accents.
So what do you ladies think of these ideas? Do you have any suggestions? As this journey continues, I hope to get lots of input from you all! Have a fabulous weekend!

  2. I love your ideas!!! What time of year is your wedding? Mine was in late Oct and we did a complete fall theme (even though we had the almost 90 degree heat). I agree that favors should be functional. We gave out these gorgeous glass cut set of 4 coasters with maple leaves on them, and our centerpieces were a large glass candle holder filled half way with corn, a carmel colored candle and rafia bow on the outside set on top of a mirror with little candles on diagle corners. So pretty.

I spend way too much time there... and pinning what I love on my Pinterest! I love what you found, and look forward to hearing more about your wedding journey!

  9. I love these! The fancy hanger is definitely one thing I didn't think of that thankfully my photographer did. It's great that you're thinking of the details because that's what will set your wedding apart. I devoured wedding blogs and did all sorts of cute stuff. Although I KNOW you're already doing that. :)
